Prior to establishing the firm, Samuel L. Ramsey, principal, was a Senior Manager in the southeastern healthcare finance/planning group of Ernst & Young. Mr. Ramsey also spent ten years as the Chief Executive Officer of several short-term, acute care, community hospitals.  As CEO, the primary emphasis and success were in the areas of financial turnaround, cost management systems, strategic planning, physician recruiting, marketing and management team building.  Mr. Ramsey received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee and completed the Group Practice Executive Manager's Institute at The Wharton School.
